LXC Module

This module adds the possibility to order LXC containers.

Install the module by inserting your download key into the field on the admin settings page as described above. The module will then be downloaded and unpacked in the background.

Afterwards you can activate the module, which will check whether the necessary database tables have already been imported. If this is not the case, it will be done automatically.

Configuration

To be able to use the module or to create containers with it, the price settings must be made.

The following fields mean the following:

Storage for LXC templates: This is the Proxmox storage on which the LXC templates are located. The possible images are loaded from here when ordering.

Target storage: This is the Proxmox storage where the containers then have their storage.

Container interface speed: This is the speed of the network adapter of the container.

You can separate these two values, but you don’t have to. I use storage-fs for my images in the screenshot, as this is a ceph-filesystem and therefore also available on my other nodes.

The fields for the prices are synchronous with the KVM prices.

Templates

To download new templates to use for containers you have to download them in Proxmox. Navigate to your storage (e.g. local) and click the tab for “CT Templates”: ct_template_overview.png Click on the Templates button and search for a template you want to download. Click “download”. download_ct_template.png After the download the template is available to select during the order-process: ct_order.png

Terminal

In order for the terminal to work, you need to apply a patch. See here on what you need to do.
