Configure Pricing

The settings for prices are located under Settings > Order Settings.

In general, the calculation of prices is limited by the standard and maximum amount of resources you set.

The calculation works as follows: base-price + ((quantity - 1) * price-per-extra) or in numbers with the following settings: default quantity cores: 1, base price: 1, price per extra: 0.5.

So if you want to order a VM with 4 cores the calculation is: 1 + ((4 - 1) * 0.5) = 2.5.

CPU

This is the amount of cores that will be available to the VM. The maximum quantity sets the largest number that the customer will be allowed to order. This value cannot be larger than the amount of cores you have available in your Proxmox host. So if your Proxmox host has 8 cores, this number cannot be greater than 8.

RAM

This is the amount of memory that will be allocated to the VM. The same logic for the calculation is applied here. Additionally, you can also activate that only powers of 2 are taken for the display. So if your default quantity is 512, the next steps are 1024, 2048, … up to your maximum quantity.

HDD Size

This is the size of the root disk of the VM. The user can decide how big this should be, but you can set the maximum. If you or your customers need multiple disks per server, you can look at the BlockStorage Module.
