Captchas offer an easy way to secure you registration page. We currently implement the following providers, if you have a provider that is not on the list and you want to have it implemented, please join my Discord and tell me about it.

• Google reCAPTCHA v3
• Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise
• Cloudflare Turnstile

Now, let's see how to register each provider and where to get the tokens you need.

Google reCAPTCHA v3 & Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise 🔗

Navigate to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create. You will be greeted with a screen to create a new project. The Label can be anything that you need in order to identify the project. Make sure to select V3, as V2 is being retired and is not implemented in the Panel. For the Domain, enter the name where you have the Panel deployed, e.g.“panel.bennetgallein.de”. After that, click “Save” and the new project will be created. You will be redirected to a screen where your credentials are being shown, these are the ones you need to copy into the configuration of the panel.

Cloudflare Turnstile 🔗

Navigate to https://dash.cloudflare.com/ and login to your Account. Then, click “Turnstile” on the left side of the screen. The creation-page will open now. Here you can enter a friendly descriptor for the widget and the Domain where your Panel is installed on.

We do support all types of widget mode Cloudflare currently offers. If you use “Managed”, Cloudflare will decide itself wether to show the user an interactive challenge.“Invisible” is really invisible, there is no widget or placeholder icon anywhere on the screen to see.

After clicking save, the following screen will open, prompting you with the necessary credentials you need to setup in the Panel.

Configuration in the Panel 🔗

Under Admin > Settings, you can select the provider you want to use and enter the key. Once you have a provider selected, the captcha is automatically activated. If you want to disable it, select the “None” Option.
